Help Lemmy overcome his toxic feelings in this casual puzzle-story game. There are two endings to unlock: The bad ending, and the good ending.

Some of the ingredients are puzzles in and of themselves! Can you decode the witch's jargon? Where could one find that missing recipe?

Puzzle Mechanics:

Be wary of pits! Push a box into a pit to traverse safely. To push things, use the arrow keys (as if 'moving into' the object)

All boxes can fall into open pits,  but only metal boxes can fall into spike pits without breaking! (oh also, ice boxes slide!)

Lastly, there are the bells. Simply 'push' to ring it, and all the pillars of the same color will disappear like magic!



Pressing 'X' will undo your last move, allowing for mistakes to be made without consequence!


Other Mechanics:

Talk to characters by 'pushing' them:

Pick up items the same way!

Pressing 'Z' (use item) will give the selected item to a character

'Z' will also deposit items into the cauldron. When the cauldron has 2 items in it, it will start smoking with a magic effect. 'Push' the full cauldron to see if what you put in makes a potion! If you put in invalid ingredients, the cauldron will shake and make an error noise. If you got one of the potions right, you'll hear a 'DING', followed by a cutscene progressing the story

this game is cool I love the fact that the rats are gay and the rat is selfish but I need more speed because the animations take too long, didn't finish the game though. (edit: I did now)

I'm really vibing with the music and cauldrons, but I'm not sure what controls I need to proceed and get ingredients. Could you let me know?

I updated the game with a tutorial that should help, but if it doesn't, here's a rundown:
Moving is how you interact 90% of the time. Wanna talk to a character? just move into them. Push a box? Move into it. Ring a bell, move into it.
I also uploaded some gifs to the desc that explain this.
the sole exception to these controls is when you want to give a character an item. Simply face the character, select the item, and press  Z. So if i wanted to give Frankie the Fish my Tissue, i would select the tissue, look at frankie, and press Z.
I am currently trying to develop a much more intuitive system than this, but let me know if this helps!
